We will review your request and present an alternative that we believe may be suitable for your needs.

3. Contact the provider directly
If the recommendation meets your expectations, you can communicate and coordinate directly with the recommended provider.

Simple, transparent, and focused on helping you find the right fit for your trip.

Steven Kai Douglas

Watur Ambassador

Steven is an American traveler, writer, former professional athlete, and English-speaking partner of Watur Perú. Over 11 years of travel—including six years of international exploration—his journeys have taken him from witnessing the Great Migration in Kenya’s Maasai Mara to participating in traditional plant-medicine ceremonies deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

After spending many years living part-time in Costa Rica and developing a deeply familial connection to Peru, Steven has learned that the richest travel experiences come through people, relationships, and a willingness to experience a place beyond the typical tourist path.

Today, he spends much of his time writing, traveling, exploring nature, and helping others discover simpler, more meaningful ways of living.

Have questions about visiting Peru? Steven would be happy to speak with you in English.
